Tampa is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Tampa is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Beautiful and peaceful place! You can loop around the entire park in about 45 minutes. Lots of beautiful places to sit, relax, and take pics. Entrance is โ€œfreeโ€ provided you pay $2 for parking (cash or credit card, no coins and no apple pay). Bathrooms are nice and located by the entrance. I think thereโ€™s a nice room there you can rent for events as well.

Perfect place for a relaxing walk and beautiful plants. The boardwalk had plenty of shade and was perfect for walking while pushing my double stroller. We enjoyed sitting in the picnic area for lunch afterwards.

You'd never guess this beautiful park is tucked between Tampa and Brandon, right near the highway. For just $2, it's an incredible little oasis and a perfect Sunday evening stop. Parking is limited, but it wasn't busy when we visited about an hour before closing. The park features easy walking trails, a 0.3-mile boardwalk, a beautiful botanical garden, and my favorite, the greenhouse. It's amazing how much history and so many rare tropical plants are packed into just 31 acres. You can comfortably see everything in 1 to 2 hours. We spent the last part of our visit chatting with one of the groundskeepers, who was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about preserving the park's history and keeping everything so well maintained. This hidden gem is absolutely worth a visit.

This little gem is one of my favorite county parks in my area. Itโ€™s small but such a pleasure to visit especially the green house! Take a break and go out and walk the boardwalk and just enjoy the peaceful nature of this place.

Eureka Springs Park is truly one of Tampaโ€™s hidden gems! From the moment you step inside, it feels like youโ€™ve been transported into a peaceful botanical oasis. The lush greenery, winding garden paths, and beautifully maintained tropical plants make it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The greenhouse is especially stunning, filled with vibrant orchids and exotic plants that are a treat to see up close. Every corner of the park feels thoughtfully cared for, and itโ€™s clear the staff and volunteers put a lot of love into maintaining the grounds. Itโ€™s a fantastic spot for a relaxing walk, quiet reflection, or even taking gorgeous photos. Whether youโ€™re a nature lover, plant enthusiast, or just looking for a serene place to unwind, Eureka Springs Park is a must-visit in Tampa. Highly recommend spending an afternoon hereโ€”you wonโ€™t be disappointed! ๐ŸŒฟโœจ
